Everyday,we have our own stories that we would like to share to our friends, relatives, or those people we haven't meet yet. It's a story about everyday's life, struggles, feelings about love, happiness, sadness or even heartaches and pains. And even those little stories that we believe is also a part of our life that sometimes we learn and grow from it. I would like to welcome you to the stories of my life....my journey... -giecyl-

SRP Cebu City road trip..
We have a great day today. We've been in a road trip to SRP (South Reclamation Project, Cebu City), my first time to travel that far in a motorcycle at the south part of Cebu City. We took pictures on several spots and there are families, lovers and friends who were having a good time there. And the most exciting part was on our way home we've got hit by a rain but still continued to drive despite of the heavy rain. Of course, we were all wet when we got home but we both have fun this day.
I am looking forward on our road trip to Mountain View next week with my hubby and friends.

Sleepless nights...
Geez!!! This is not good. I don't have enough sleep for 3 consecutive nights...well, at least the reason now is very important. We have attended a seminar regarding how to become rich...hahaha!!! Funny as it sounds but it's true. The seminar last until 9pm then have our dinner @Lola Saling in Mandaue along the highway to Maguikay. Love the sea foods there, you choose and they will cook it the way you want to. I like also the ambiance of the place. We've planned to be back @Lola Saling on Saturday courtesy of a friend. Then we dropped by at a friend's house in Cabancalan.
Again, been stopped by the police patrol who conducted inspection around 2am on our way home.

Fruit and Vegetable Shopping Tips
I just have read this from an old magazine....though it is old but I hope it can help to all mommies or shoppers out there.
1.) Seasonal vegetables are the more economical alternative.
2.) Color is a good gauge when buying fruit and vegetables. The dark green and orange colored Fruits and Vegetables are rich sources of vitamins A, C and E.
3.) Roots vegetables have very little waste and can be stored for a longer time than a green, leafy vegetables.
4.) Buy fruits and vegetables in season when they are cheapest.
5.) Try avoiding pre-packed vegetables because buying them loose lets you pick out the best and the right amount you need - they're more cheaper.
6.) Fruits are often sold in bulk at special prices, these can be economical and are small enough to take to work or for your kid's lunch boxes.
7.) Frozen vegetables and fruits are very convenient and just as nourishing as fresh, it is best to buy frozen vegetables and fruits last, so that you can get them to freezer quickly.
8.) Canned vegetable foods are nutritious and convenient. In the case of canned fruit, select those canned in its own juice.
9.) Supermarket brand are often cheaper. Look for special offers on tinned fruit, vegetables and frozen vegetables.
10.)Tinned tomatoes can be used by busy people as a base for sauces and soups, as a topping for pizza, or used to stretch ready-made or home-made sauces.
11.)Choose fruit juice in preference to fruit flavored drinks. Fruit flavored drinks may be cheaper but unless they are low in sugar and have added vitamin C, they are not as nourishing.
12.)Look out for fruit and vegetables special offers in your local supermarkets.
* I hope this well help you when buying fruits and vegetables for your family.

Roaming around Cebu
Cebu yesterday was so hot....you even sweat after taking a bath. So, we decided to roam around the city when night came. How I love the night breeze on Marcelo Fernan bridge when we passed by. We dropped at a friend's house and have a chit chat for a couple of hours. The most exciting last night was that we've been stopped by the LTO 3 times. Reminder to all motorists out there, it's better to bring your license and complete papers always because you don't know when and where does LTO will conduct an inspection. We have fun last night.

Nutri - Tips
Now is the time to make that switch towards the more healthier food alternatives. If you are still having trouble adapting to the taste of fruits and vegetables, here are several tips that may help.
1.) Different kinds of fruits and vegetables should always be at the top of your shopping list.
2.) To start the day right, drink a half glass of fruit juice every morning. Oranges is the general favorite.
3.) To add taste and texture to your cereal, add some chopped fruit like banana, apple or dried fruit.
4.) Add mashed banana to bread, toast or scones as a regular between-meal treat.
5.) At least one salad vegetable in your sandwich can make a difference. Try tomato, lettuce, cucumber or any raw vegetable of your preference.
6.) Vegetable in hot soup is one sure way of ensuring your family's veggie-intake. You can also use frozen vegetables because they are just as good as fresh.
7.) Try to have one to two vegetables -in addition to potatoes - with your dinner.
8.) Lots of vegetables can add that extra crunch to stews, casseroles and stir-fry dishes.
9.) Finish off lunch and dinner with a piece of fruit. Delicious either raw, cooked or tinned in its own juice.
10.) Raw vegetables with light dips are tasty treats! A healthy platter should always be ready in the fridge for the family to nibble on.

Earn money online
One of the best way to earn money online is through oDesk.com, this one of my reason why I was so busy on the past years. Well, I would say it's not easy earning online but if you put some hard work on it believe me, you will enjoy it. When I am writing this post, I am also busy applying for a job on oDesk.
Back to blogging
Hey there!!! Well, it's been a while since the last time I post here on my blog. I was just really busy at that time that I don't have time to visit my blog. And now here I am ready to blog again.
